The Learning and Interpretation officer for the Revealing Oldknow's Legacy project recently arranged 3 workshops to look at information across the project sites and interconnecting areas to inform digital and on-site information and tours and events.

The first workshop focussed on learning theory, the second looked at potential audiences and the third, which took place today, concentrated on information and key messages.
The Civic Society supports the project and was pleased to contribute to the three worshops.

The Revealing Oldknow's Legacy Project is a £1.5m three year Heritage Lottery funded project and is a joint venture between Canal & River Trust and Mellor Archaelogical Trust. It tells the story of Samuel Oldknow and his historic connection to Mellor Mill, Marple Aqueduct and Marple Lime Kilns.
